Laura, co-founder of Laura Hayward Architects, brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch to every project. Graduating with honours from the Liverpool School of Art & Design in 2006, Laura began her architectural journey with the esteemed AJ100 firm Falconer Chester Hall, contributing to significant mixed-use, residential, office, and hotel developments.

In 2008, Laura received a merit scholarship from the Beetham Organisation, leading her to an enriching experience with Kohn Pederson Fox and A+Asia in Singapore. There, she played a key role in designing the now-iconic Pinnacle Building, a distinguished landmark in London’s financial district. Returning to the East Midlands in 2012, Laura established her own practice, focusing on residential architecture with a dedication to both new builds and renovations. Her approach is defined by a deep understanding of each client’s vision and needs. A chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and listed on the Architects Registration Board UK, Laura also contributes to the profession by examining apprentices at several universities, keeping her at the cutting edge of architectural practice.

Laura's commitment to combining hands-on experience with nurturing the next generation of architects ensures that her work remains both innovative and grounded.
